Activity report with brief description of the project:

The preservation of the substance and the beautification of the townscape was only possible through a great deal of personal effort.

The former fire station of the Dolintschach volunteer fire brigade is located on Dolintschacher Straße on the outskirts of the village of Dolintschach. The aim of the project was to preserve the appearance and structure of the old fire station. The building has been used for years by the Berg ski club, the Dolintschach fire brigade and the village community. As part of the small project funding, a roof renovation, painting work on the façade and replacement of some of the windows and doors were planned.

As part of the renovation, the old tin roof and the garage door were renewed and visually improved by painting, the windows were replaced and the façade was repainted. The Dolintschach village community and members of the SC-Berg carried out the interior painting work themselves. Furthermore, the floor in the recreation room was removed and a new screed was laid. The sanitary facilities were replaced and in future it should be possible for cyclists to use the toilet and to get drinking water. The electrical system in the building was brought up to date.

In the end, the project was greatly realised through the sponsorship of an electrician and an installer, but above all through 200 hours of own work by members of the association and the village community.

LEADER

invites cyclists, walkers and excursionists to recharge their batteries here, while children explore the adventure area. The municipality of Rosegg has incorporated regional historical features (Knights of Rase, Celts) into the construction of the rest area on the Drau cycle path The location on the R1 cycle path was deliberately chosen: at the beginning of the section of the Drau cycle path across the Rosental valley.

The Ras(t)Platz is a functional facility for cyclists and walkers (drinking fountain, bike service station, e-fuelling station), with a place for adults to linger and rest and adventure zones for children and young people.

Outside the LEADER project, the offers for young people and adults were realised

The gastronomy in the immediate vicinity rounds off the offer.
