In unserem LEADER-Projekt „Vorzeigeregion 2030 Stadt_Villach_Umland“ arbeiten wir eng zusammen, um eine Vision für das Jahr 2030 zu entwickeln und die Region über die Gemeindegrenzen hinaus nachhaltig zu stärken. Alle Bürger:innen der Region sind eingeladen, sich aktiv einzubringen, um die zukünftige Ausrichtung der Region mitzugestalten. In verschiedenen Veranstaltungsformaten und Dialogprozessen sollen Perspektiven, Bedürfnisse und Ideen der Bevölkerung berücksichtigt werden. Wir starten im Oktober mit unserem ersten Regionsgespräch zum Thema „Soziale Region und Bildungsraum“ Diskutiert mit uns über aktuelle und zukünftige Themen der sozialen Region und der Bildungsregion Villach-Umland im Zuge des integrierten Regionalentwicklungsprozesses (IREP_VU).
Gemeinsam wollen wir der Frage nachgehen: Wie könnte unsere Region von morgen aussehen?

Die Förderaktion
''Ölkesselfreies Rosegg'' wurde 2020 beschlossen und nach 4-jähriger Laufzeit ist
der Fördertopf aufgebraucht.
Es wurden
insgesamt 12 Ölkesselanlagen sowie 1 Tankanlage durch alternative Heizsysteme ersetzt.

Seitens des Wasserversorgungsverbandes Faaker See Gebiet wird in der Zeit von 09.09.2024 bis 13.12.2024 der Ringschluss am Dueler Weg durchgeführt. Diese Maßnahme trägt zur Versorgungssicherheit im Falle eines Rohrgebrechens teil.
Der Dueler Weg wird ab dem Sportplatz Rosegg (Dueler Weg 34) bis zur Fröger Kapelle in der Zeit von 07:00 bis 17:00 Uhr gesperrt. Die Umleitung erfolgt lokal über den Wildparkweg und der Schlossallee.

Air reconnaissance exercise of the Austrian Air Force in Carinthia

The air reconnaissance squadron of the Air Support Wing of the Austrian Armed Forces will exercise in the Rosental area from 9 to 13 October 2023. A total of around 70 soldiers with two Agusta Bell "AB 212" and Bell "OH-58 Kiowa" helicopters and one Pilatus Porta "PC6" fixed-wing aircraft will be in action during the air reconnaissance exercise. The aim of the exercise is to train the tasks and procedures in the protection mode of operation in order to be able to fulfil the constitutional mandate in case of emergency.
The Air Reconnaissance Squadron is part of the Air Support Wing of the Austrian Air Force and is based at the Brumowski Air Base in Langenlebarn/Lower Austria. The air support squadron consists of a medium transport helicopter squadron (S-70 "Black Hawk"), a multi-purpose transport helicopter squadron (OH-58 "Kiowa") as well as a fixed wing squadron (PC-6 "Turbo Porter"), an air reconnaissance squadron and the ground organisation necessary for flight operations.
Take-off and landing will take place at Glainach airfield (military training area). On three days (Tue, Wed and Thu), night flights until 11 p.m. are also planned from Ferlach airfield.
